Midan had an album release set. It was Japanese inspired tunes. Local talent making a huge splash. You missed a great chill night out. It was His last gig in koln as he's going to tour in Japan.

Interesting jazz club with quality shows almost every evening. Short bier selectiin but good and fine choice of drinks and cocktails. The club is quite small, so if you want to take a seat, come early (or you can stay at the bar desk: the sound is very good everywhere) Enjoy your next session

Visited on a weekend night, whilst there was no event it was a regular club night. It was too packed, not enough seats or coat hooks for guests, the music wasn’t what we expected from a jazz place it was pure techno. A lot of dodgy blokes recording female guests minimal security - didn’t feel safe at all. Bar staff were friendly and service was good however not worth €8 entry. Can’t speak to jazz events as we didn’t experience one here.

Very important venue in the city. Great sound, instruments and technical specs. The curation has 2 lines, jazz-club and klubbar, complementing each other from mainstream to diverse contemporary sounds. Jam sessions are really good, although only happens the first Wednesday of each month.
