Although I have been to and loved the Christmas Market in Stadtgarten for many years, I had never eaten in the restaurant before a couple of days ago, when I went with a couple of friends. We all enjoyed the flavorful vegan burger and exceptional fries. I had a cappuccino too. Great service. The outdoor seating was shaded and enchanting.

Went here for a jazz/soul concert, so this relates purely to the atmosphere of the concert hall - but damn! Beautiful venue, great sound and most of all the perfect small-club atmosphere with some nice amenities. I already stared out to check other artists in their event calendar, for the hall alone has made its point that concerts here surely are something special.

Beautiful park, huge old trees, sunny lawns, pond with ducks, great playground. Summer concerts, beer garden, restaurant and the best people-watching in the city. Spotless, relaxed vibe, free entry. My favorite chill spot in Cologne - pure happiness!
